Required Boys Equipment
The following is required for all boys lacrosse players:
- Lacrosse helmet
- Mouth guard
- Shoulder Pads
- Arm/elbow pads
- Protective cup
- Lacrosse gloves
- Lacrosse Stick
- Athletic Shoes
- Optional: rib pads
All Framingham Youth Lacrosse players are required to wear protective gear.
Equipment can be borrowed or purchased.

The above equipment can be purchased at any sporting good store, but we recommend stores that specialize in lacrosse equipment, where assistance in proper fit can be obtained. Also packages are usually available at lacrosse stores that significantly reduce the cost over buying the above items individually. Families that borrow equipment from FYL are responsible for returning all borrowed equipment at the end of each season. Any lost or broken items will be subject to appropriate replacement costs.
